NGO Fact Sheet Assignment
Due Monday, February 28th
100 Points

Before you get started on the Sophomore Exhibition Project, you will be examining a grassroots nonprofit organization that helps fight against human rights abuses either nationally or internationally. These NGOs (non-governmental organizations) will give you an idea of what abuses are occurring in the world and what organizations are currently doing to improve the situation.

Use the following questions to guide your research. Each question should be answered as a bullet point. There may be many answers for one question. Remember, this is only a fact sheet- you just want to provide concise specific facts about the NGO. Make sure you neatly type and organize the information. Do not forget to include textnotes for any quotes!!

Tips for Studying:

1.   Make a study guide

2.   Make a set of multiple choice questions. Trade this set with a friend and take each other’s tests.

3.   Try writing vocab sentences for as many words as you can, without looking at definitions.

4.   Make flash cards.
